The Sussex County Amateur Radio Club is dedicated to Education, Public Service and the advancement of amateur radio. The call W2LV was adopted in March 1999 as the club call of the Sussex County Amateur Radio Club, Inc. and is dedicated to the memory of its former member and radio pioneer, the late Robert M. Morris 1902 -1997.

November Contest: Sweepstakes (19th-20th)

This weekend starting at 4pm Saturday and running to 10pm Sunday for New Jersey. Stations in the United States and Canada (including territories and possessions) to exchange QSO information with as many other US and Canadian stations as possible on 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meter bands.

Next Club Meeting: Friday, November 18th, 2016

SCARC meetings are held every third Friday of the month (except for July and August) at 8:00pm. November's meeting is at Sussex County Public Safety Training Academy, 114 Morris Turnpike, Newton, NJ.

Field Day was a great success. Our 5A effort earned us 3025 QSO's and 10,948 points! We placed #1 in the country in the 5A category adnranked #31 overall.

*** SCARC was NUMBER ONE in the country for our Field Day 2016 effort in the 5A category and placed at 31 overall. Congratulations to all.

New - 2 M Net - Tuesday Nights

Join us Tuesday nights at 8:00PM, on 147.300, for our weekly rag chew. This is open to everyone and we have had some great discussions.
